Obstructions that can be simplified to either a fence, a prism, or a cylinder can be modelled using the obstructions tool in the left-hand toolbar. This then allows you to determine any clearance issues that may arise along your conductor line, by placing conductors in the required location and using any of the Neara tools to determine potential clearance issues.

Any of the three types of obstructions are placed by simply selected the desired type and then left-clicking the desired location on the model. In order to move either the entire prism or a certain floor point, left-click on the desired part you want to move and drag to the desired location.

Prism

Any object that can be modelled as a prism can be modelled using the prism obstruction type. It is defaulted to having a height of 8m, with floor height ground level and being shaped as a rectangular prism, however, all of these are completely customisable as shown above.

The vertices list the location of all floor height vertices and each one can be moved to a precise location by editing its corresponding text field. They can also be removed using the [X] button and added using the "insert after" button.

Cylinder and Fence

Similarly to the Prism, cylinders and fences can be placed in the same way. They can also be relabelled and have the option to modify both the height and floor points in the same way as above.
