This is used to ensure that conductors and constructions fit the LiDAR points correctly, as you can see in the picture below the purple LiDAR points are conductors that have been placed but don’t fit the data points accurately. However, when the points turn grey that means they are fitting the data. 

To make them fit we can use the snap tool as follows:



  1. Select the snap tool from the left hand menu and then hover over a conductor, when it turns green you can click on it and using the menu on the right can snap it to fit the LiDAR points in different ways.

  2. Select the type of adjustment you want to make and hover over the LiDAR point you want to snap to, you will see a dotted line appear to show you the new conductor fit. When you have found a point that gives you the desired fit simply left click to snap the conductor to it
