Placing Down a Stay/Guy Wire
There are two ways to add a stay/guy wire in Neara.
To add a stay to a pole, first select the relevant pole using the move and select tool. Once the pole is selected, click on the structure tab on the right of the screen.
In the structure tab, you will find the action Add Opposing Stay.
Click this action and the program will automatically add a stay directly opposing the resultant force acting on the pole.
To add multiple stays to a pole, select the stay/guy wire tool from the tool bar on the left and click anywhere on the ground near the pole to place down a stay. Or click on the pole where you would like to attach the stay.
Editing a Stay/Guy Wire
Once you have placed down your stay/guy wire. You are able to edit and customize it to whatever specifications you require.
To edit the stay, select it using the move and select tool to see the customization options under the properties tab
Here, you will be able to change the construction of the stay, its attachment height, the anchor distance, the bearing and more to whatever is required.
Additionally, to add a bollard pole to your stay construction click the action Use bollard pole.
To edit the bollard pole, select it with the move and select tool and adjust the settings in the properties tab.
